If you order a cloud hosting plan from us and if you take advantage of our mail services, you will be able to activate spam filters for any of the mailboxes that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With no more than several clicks of the mouse, you can pick between 5 separate levels of protection. If you start getting spam, you can begin with the lowest one and then gradually raise the level until you stop receiving spam. We use one of the best and most popular spam filters available on the market called SpamAssassin. It examines the header section and the body of each email message that you receive and determines a spam score, based on which it either deletes a certain message or permits it to reach your mailbox. The Hepsia Control Panel will also permit you to set up custom filters and either delete unwelcome messages or re-send them to a third-party email address like email@example.com where you can examine them once more later.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you use one of our Linux semi-dedicated hosting, you won’t need to worry about spam emails occupying your mailboxes every once in a while, as you can take advantage of the popular SpamAssassin email filter that we provide with each semi-dedicated server account. Our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel will permit you to activate the filter for any email account with several mouse clicks and you can select any of the five protection levels – from very high to very low. The level can be changed at any time if, for instance, authentic messages get blocked, or if junk messages go through and reach your Inbox folder. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered email messages to be redirected to a special email account such as firstname.lastname@example.org and not to be erased. Thus, you can examine them every now and then to make sure that you have not missed a genuine email message.
